Sculpture exhibition at San Nicola rock church complex

One must-see sight during your trip to Matera is the cave church complex of the Madonna delle Virtù and San Nicola dei Greci in the heart of the historic Sassi district. Each summer, this stunning complex is the site of an international exhibit of sculptures organized by the La Scaletta cultural association.
