Calata Domenico Ridola is a little street with its original, characteristic paving of chiancarelle, a particular kind hard stone rather like cobblestones, smoothed and polished by time.
Carry straight on down the next street, Via San Francesco da Paola Vecchia with the terrace of the former Lanfranchi Seminary above you on the right, and a long belvedere over Sasso Caveoso on the left.
